GeometryDashLite

Privacy

This policy explains what data Geometry Dash Lite collects, what it does with that data, and your rights. It is written plainly — if anything is unclear, email [email protected].

No accounts

There are no user accounts. You never register, log in, or provide an email address. The only personal detail you can optionally provide is a short nickname when submitting a leaderboard score.

Leaderboard submissions

When you submit a score, the server receives your IP address as part of the normal HTTP request. We do not store your raw IP address. Instead, we store a salted hash of the IP for the sole purpose of rate-limiting abuse (one submission per 30 seconds per IP). The salt is unique to this deployment and is never shared. The stored hash cannot be reversed to recover your IP address.

The data stored in the leaderboard database for each entry is: nickname, score, a timestamp, and the hashed IP. Run time is validated server-side but is not persisted. We do not link submissions across sessions or tie them to any identity.

Local storage

The game uses your browser's localStorage to remember four things: your personal best score, your mute preference, a pending score while you are filling in the submit form, and your last-used nickname to pre-fill the leaderboard submit form. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Third-party trackers and ads

At launch, this site does not include any third-party analytics scripts, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. No data is shared with third parties.

Data questions

If you want to know what data is stored about a submission you made, or want it removed, email [email protected] with the nickname and approximate time.
